Honoring American Soldiers

Entrance to Washington Crossing National Cemetery

Detour#3 Honoring our Soldiers

Washington Crossing National Cemetery

We detoured to Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Pennsylvania. We made this detour because my maternal uncle died. He was a septuagenarian. My uncle was also a soldier in the United States Army. He served in the Vietnam War. Therefore, we began our trip by honoring our soldiers.

We even traveled across the location named the Washington Crossing. See if you can find this location on Google maps. This is where our first President fought The War of Independence. You can read more about the war by following the link.

Our next stop took us back to our originally planned starting point…but, we detoured again before getting there! Follow the paw-print!
