Sahara Takes us on our 8,000 mile Journey

Thanks to Lustine Chrysler, Jeep, Ram and Jim Click Jeep we had a safe and fuel-sponsored trip! Before going in either direction, Spike and I were sure to have the Jeep serviced.

Spike’s last photo-shoot of our journey was at our home base: Lustine Jeep. It is also home of the largest American flag in Northern Virginia with a dedication (where Spike sits) to those who have served our nation. It is an honor to have finished our Americans, We Are tour at Lustine’s flag.

Jim Click Jeep made sure we heard no sounds and experienced nothing but a smooth ride to our home destination! And if it were not for Lustine, the cost of our fuel would have been quite extraordinary. And Mister Wash got us on our way with a cleaner-bug-free Jeep!

This summer, the Mike and Spike, Spike and Mike roadshow will cross America and connect with people and places that make this country distinctly American. 
Horses will be the animal theme that draw us to the locations of states across America as they were historically the lead animal for transport…(Sure Spike, we won’t forget to visit dogs and create a signature print!). As we travel, the horse theme will transition to horsepower! Horsepower, of course, is now our primary means of seeing our country.
The subsequent theme is sand--yes, sand. Why sand? We will travel from “sea to shining sea” and collect sand from each shore; from the shores of the Assateague Island to the Coronado Islands, and the sand dunes in between. And, actually, these locations used to be called “seas.”
